NIFMSE brings in new Business Development Manager

The Las Vegas-set fastener show NIFMSE (National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo) has recruited Morgan Wilson as the new Business Development Manager.

Before joining NIFMSE, Wilson worked as both a director of warehouse and sales executive for a leading distributor of quality fasteners, abrasives and cutting tools for over 10 years. In his roles, Wilson successfully negotiated and implemented deals and contracts that resulted in an increase in the company’s bottom line in year over year profits. Wilson is a Certified Fastener Specialist (CFS) from the Los Angeles Fastener Association (LAFA) since 2008.

NIFMSE was recently acquired by Emerald Expositions. The firm said: "We knew it was important to find more ways to connect our customers with theirs, [so] adding more resources was at the top of the list."

Wilson will join the team to continue to develop and maintain relationships with the show’s long standing clients as well as lead the development of new product categories on the show floor while at the same time working with the team on developing strategies to grow attendance to further propel the show’s 30-plus years standing as a key international fastener event in North America.

“Morgan’s proven industry experience and knowledge of the fastener and manufacturing market will be invaluable in serving the growing list of suppliers in the fastener industry, throughout the country,” said Karalynn Sprouse, EVP of Manufacturing for Emerald Expositions. “As we continue to develop new product categories to serve our customers, we will look to Morgan’s previous experience in the manufacturing sector and product knowledge to continue to elevate this ‘must attend’ event."

“I’m excited about joining the team and know that this role is tailor made for my career,” said Wilson. “Having been a past attendee at NIFMSE, I’ve seen and have come to appreciate how an organization like NIFMSE understands the needs of their customers and the importance of bringing our industry together. I am honored to have this opportunity to put my extensive background and knowledge to work.”
