Now in its 37th year, North America's International Fastener Expo (formerly NIFMSE), has opened nominations for the Hall of Fame and Young Fastener Professional awards.
The IFE ‘Hall of Fame’ recognises and honours individuals who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the fastener industry. Individuals are selected based on their strides to advance the industry as a whole—including their personal achievements, and tenure of their respective businesses.
As an industry that continues to develop through changing times, the “Young Fastener Professional” award honours a young fastener professional under the age of 40 who continues to make a meaningful and compelling impact on the advancement of the fastener industry.
Winners of the HOF and YFP award will receive a commemorative plaque as well as a $500 donation to the Fastener Industry Scholarship fund of their choice.
Nomination deadline is June 30, 2018. Those received after the date will be added to the list of nominees for the next year.
This year's International Fastener Expo takes place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, over 30 October- 1 November 2018. EFDA (European Fastener Distributor Association) is to bring a large delegation to this year's show.
