Hardware Forum Italy has confirmed a partnership with Colorday which will see the hardware and colour distribution channel hold a conference dedicated to the showroom at the show.
Hardware Forum Italy, which is organised by Cologne International Hardware Show coordinators Koelnmesse, is at the time of writing scheduled to take place 22-23 September 2020 in Milan.
Colorday, now in its third edition, will once again involve operators within the hardware and colour channels in a conference packed with information and inputs to facilitate their daily work. Organised by Radio Colore and Colore & Hobby in collaboration with Hardware Forum Italy, Colorday's topical issue for 2020 will centre around the showroom.
Architects, merchandisers, marketing and communication experts, craftsmen and retailers will discuss the ideal showroom which certifies the distributor's competence and offers incentives and answers to customers' needs.
Vieri Barsotti, Director of Colore & Hobby and Radio Colore, said: "ColorDat is an important opportunity to talk about colour to all professionals of the sector, this year through the showroom, which represents the maximum enhancement of colour."
Hardware Forum Italy will see a growing range of content aimed at specialised retailers to attract a more complete range of products, including hardware, tools, colour, gardening, safety, building materials, accident prevention, electrical, thermo-hydraulics.
Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia, added: "Colour channel is one of the complementary product sectors for hardware distribution. Since it is currently in a positive consumption trend, it will be an important driving force for the event."
The 2019 edition of the show saw 3,450 visitors pass through its halls, up 40% on the previous year's visitor numbers. In 2020, the Hardware Forum and partner event Bricoday will be hosted in Hall 3 of Mi.Co FieraMilanoCity to provide synergies between the hardware and DIY sectors.
