Milan-set Hardware Forum Italy, now in its fifth year, saw higher number of visitors file through the doors at Mi.Co Fieramilanocity.
Taking place at the end of September, the DIY and hardware show saw a 40% increase in visitor numbers compared with 2018, with 3,450 professionals listed as part of the whole distribution chain, including retail, large distribution, online platforms, associations and institutions.
The event is organised by Koelnmesse, the team behind Cologne’s mammoth hardware fair, in partnership with Bricoday, which is DIY targeted. That’s Mobility – a Reed Exhibitions (Fastener Fair owner) event dedicated to electric mobility also partners with Hardware Forum Italy.
The DUOBLADE from fischer picked up another prize when it was named among the product award winners at the show (the Premio Grossista Innovation Score 2019). A matchmaking event, pairing up exhibitors and distributors with over 250 meeting, conferences and forums rounded out the show features.
“Hardware Forum Italy is already working to develop an event that will meet more and more the expectations of the production and distribution sector of the professional technical market,” said Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italy. “It has confirmed its position as the leading Italian trade show, like Eisenwarenmesse in Cologne and CIHS in Shanghai at a global level.”
Unlike the Cologne show, Hardware Forum Italy takes place every year and will be back in Milan in September 2020.
