fischer's second International Expert Forum (IEF) was held in Dubai on 18 September 2024 with over 200 guests taking part. It was the fixing expert’s second IEF after the inaugural event in November 2023 in New Delhi.
At the H Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, fischer hosted an all-day event. Journalists also attended the forum, which brought together industry leaders, partners and experts. They exchanged views on the latest developments in the construction industry, with a special focus on sustainability, innovation and digital transformation.
The forum focussed on the future of the construction industry, including fischer’s BIM services and the fixing expert’s solutions in the field of structural retrofitting, and brought together experts from across the Middle East. The speakers and over 200 guests focussed their questions on future construction trends and various innovative methods in different construction sectors. In addition to the strategic insights offered by the forum, fischer’s latest product innovations were also highlighted.
Professor Konrad Bergmeister, who heads the Institute of Structural Engineering at the Vienna University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, said: “fischer has organized a very successful forum here in Dubai. The mix of construction industry, planning engineers and science at this event has been very successful. The innovative and, above all, sustainable products will increase attention and demand in the construction industry throughout the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East region.”
