UK Construction Week announces partnership with CPI

UK Construction Week (UKCW) has announced a partnership with independently governed not-for-profit organisation CPI Ltd, which will debut at the London show in May.

The partnership stems from a shared ambition to drive cultural change in the built environment sector, enhancing quality, promoting greater transparency in product information and raising marketing standards.

CPI Ltd is responsible for the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI), which is designed to elevate standards in construction product information and marketing, driving a positive cultural shift across the manufacturing and supply sectors. The ultimate goal is to create an industry where product information is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous.

The UKCW conference programme will spotlight industry growth and the path to meeting government targets in key areas like housebuilding and net zero. Central to this vision is a strong focus on safety and quality, driving a new era of transformational change in the UK’s built environment.

With vital information for manufacturers, merchants and distributors, contractors, clients, architects, and all product users, visitors to the London show will be able to learn about how their businesses can benefit from participating in the CCPI community.

Moreover, CPI Ltd Chief Executive Amanda Long will be speaking at UK Construction Week, sharing insights on how CCPI can enhance building safety. This session offers essential information for manufacturers, merchants, distributors, contractors, clients, architects, and all product users. Visitors to the London show will discover the advantages of joining the CCPI community and how it can benefit their business.

“UK Construction Week is the ideal forum for us to talk about the CCPI; it’s a show which brings together the two distinct audiences who can help to raise product information standards - the demand-side supporters, and the manufacturers and suppliers,” said Long.
