Rivit reveals new range of cordless riveting tools

Emilia-based Rivit has introduced a new range of cordless riveters, battery powered and featuring brushless motors to precisely fasten rivet nuts and blind rivets.

These riveters are designed specifically to set blind rivets and rivet nuts of different sizes and materials in a wide range of setting situations. As such, Rivit's battery-powered riveting tools are versatile enough to meet any need, of both the professionals and the do-it-yourselfer, said the brand.

Specifically, the range consists of two battery-powered riveters for blind rivets (RIV710 and RIV720) and two tools for placing rivet nuts (RIV730 and RIV740).

The two models dedicated to blind rivets feature an ergonomic soft rubber handle for operator comfort, 27 mm stroke and come with an 18 V / 2.0 Ah / 36 Wh battery and a 100-240 V / 50-60 Hz battery charger. Easy and practical to use to install blind rivets in steel and in all the main steel alloys, they are equipped not only with a practical container for collecting the cut mandrels and a pull start button, but thanks to a LED system also with a battery charge level indicator and a light to illuminate the application area. RIV710 places blind rivets with diameters from 2.4 up to 4.8 mm, while RIV720 is ideal for blind rivets from Ø 2.4 up to Ø 6.4, thanks to the provided interchangeable clamp opener kit.

The battery-powered riveters dedicated to rivet nuts are also equipped with a soft and ergonomic handle to facilitate the operator's grip, a practical button to start the tool, a LED light system and a touch panel that allows users to adjust and select the best function for their needs. These two models feature a 10 mm stroke and come with 18 V / 2.0 Ah / 36 Wh battery plus the 100-240 V / 50-60 Hz battery charger, but they differ in maximum force and size of the rivet nuts to place. RIV730 is ideal for rivet nuts from M3 to M8 (M10 only in aluminium) and delivers 20,000 Newton, while RIV740 reaches 28,000 N and will set rivet nuts M3 to M12.

The packaging proposals of the Ozzano-based company for this range of products feature a focus on sustainability and practicality: RIV710 and RIV730 are packaged in a practical cardboard box, which makes the packaging of these battery-powered riveters eco-sustainable, while RIV720 and RIV740 are easily transportable in a dedicated carrying case, which includes a wide range of accessories and two batteries.

Like all other Rivit riveters, the new battery-powered line is covered by the repair and maintenance services, which guarantee a fully qualified support to the customer. Pre- and post-sales.
