Rivit has introduced new compatibility kits for the battery-powered RIV720 riveting tool and Gtreriv rivets, specifically designed for the sustainable energy sector.
These kits enable the fastening of Gtreriv rivets with a 7.7 mm diameter—surpassing the current maximum of 6.4 mm supported by the 700 Series riveting tools.
The 700 Series includes four models: two for rivets (RIV710 and RIV720) and two for rivet nuts (RIV730 and RIV740). Each tool is powered by a high-performance brushless motor and long-lasting 18V / 2.0 Ah / 36 Wh battery, ensuring mobility, easy transport, and usability in outdoor environments, including rooftops and locations without access to compressed air or mains power.
Gtreriv rivets feature neoprene gaskets, making them waterproof and ideal for installations exposed to harsh weather conditions. Available in diameters ranging from 5.2 mm to 7.7 mm, these rivets offer strong tensile resistance and three pressure wings that evenly distribute clamping force across a wide surface area. This design allows secure fastening on various materials, including soft and curved surfaces.
