Rivit has introduced a wide range of commercial kits, offering turnkey solutions with the Controlriv GEN3 paired with compatible tools.
These kits include riveting tools for rivets (RIV504, RIV508, RIV511B) and rivet nuts (RIV916B, RIV938P, RIV939P, RIV943, RIV949, RIV603), providing a comprehensive and ready-to-use solution for diverse applications.
These fastening systems are tailored for assembly applications in the automotive industry and mechanical assembly in general, including both light and heavy carpentry, with a focus on highly automated and robotic production lines.
The Controlriv GEN3 stands out as a versatile process controller designed to ensure the accurate fastening of various fastener types. It connects seamlessly to compatible Rivit tools via dedicated kits, delivering reliable performance and precision.
With its durable and compact design, the new RIVSentinel configuration software offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface. It supports Profinet integration, features a physical separation of electronic and pneumatic components for easier maintenance and setup, enables communication via Wi-Fi, and provides the ability to generate LOG files.
A Controlriv GEN3 network is inherently resilient. Even if a node or device encounters an issue, the network remains operational. The controller device, responsible for managing communications with an external PC or PLC, can seamlessly be replaced by a backup device, ensuring uninterrupted network functionality in the event of a controller failure.
Regarding the functions of Controlriv GEN3, it can swiftly detect fastening errors, helping save both time and costs. It can be used in two modes: as a stand-alone system with a single controller-receiver setup or in a cluster configuration where multiple systems are networked together.
Controlriv GEN3 made its international debut at EuroBLECH, an exhibition dedicated to sheet metal working that took place in Hanover, Germany in October 2024.
