International Hardware Fair Italy announces highlights

International Hardware Fair Italy will focus on sustainability, services and the evolution of formats, the organiser Koelnmesse has announced.

The fair will be held from 8-9 May 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. Two days of conferences and matchmaking, an incoming programme for buyers from all over Europe, and an outdoor area for exhibiting tools and machinery are among the highlights of the event.

Currently, the International Hardware Fair Italy committee is working on conference programmes that will offer plenty of food for thought and in-depth analysis.

Thomas Rosolia, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Italia, said: “We have more than 250 exhibitors on board who have already confirmed their participation and are working with us to make the most of the trade fair. They include home improvement’s most prominent and recognised brands, with the support of the biggest international trade associations.”

Partners who have confirmed their commitment include EDRA/GHIN, a global association of DIY and home improvement retailers representing more than 34,000 stores in 78 countries as well as large-scale resellers and digital platforms.

Other partners include ZHH, a trade association specialising in hardware in the DACH countries; FWI, a German association of machine tool manufacturers; and Assofermet Ferramenta, an association of Italian hardware wholesalers, to name a few. The event will also include the annual Product of the Year Award.

International Hardware Fair Italy is a sister show to the long-established International Hardware Fair Cologne - this is only the second edition of the Italy-based spin-off trade show.

Koelnmesse and dmg events also announced that they will co-organise the new International Hardware Fair Saudi Arabia between 16 and 18 June 2025.
