AICHELIN Group announces leadership change and business realignment

AICHELIN Group has appointed Philipp Krenn as Managing Director of AICHELIN Service GmbH in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Krenn boasts extensive experience in sales and business development as well as international expertise. Currently Managing Director of Aichelin Ges.m.b.H, Krenn will assume the new role on 1 February 2025.

In the new position, Krenn will strengthen collaboration between the sites in Austria and Germany. Within the AICHELIN Group, AICHELIN Service GmbH is the leading provider of all service operations for thermal processing systems. Ludwigsburg is also home to the central spare parts warehouse for Europe.

Aside from the appointment, AICHELIN Group has discontinued the operations of its Slovenian subsidiary, Bosio d.o.o., and will provide all future products through Aichelin Ges.m.b.H. (Austria). All ongoing projects will be completed by Bosio d.o.o. while all new projects will be handled by Aichelin Ges.m.b.H. The company said the decision was “the result of in-depth analysis and a strategic adjustment to the current economic conditions in Europe”.

Manufacturing will remain unaffected and continue at the Aichelin Assembly Centre Europe (Aichelin ACE d.o.o.) in Celje, Slovenia, inaugurated in 2023.

“With these measures, we are strengthening our position and competitiveness in Europe in a sustainable way. The close integration of our locations enables us to respond more flexibly and efficiently to the needs of our customers,” said Christian Grosspointner, CEO of AICHELIN Group.

Previously, the AICHELIN Group appointed Martin Moser as ESG & Quality Coordinator.
