Anochrome Group announces senior appointment

Anochrome Group has appointed Jamie Westley as Group Process Improvement & Technical Sales Manager.

In his new position, Westley will oversee improvements to Anochrome’s six sites, address any issues as they arise and assign new work to the most appropriate part of the business.

Previously Westley spent his entire career at The Electrolytic Plating Company Limited (EPC) before the Walsall business fell into administration earlier this year. After that, Wolverhampton Electro Plating (WEP), part of the Anochrome Group, purchased two divisions of the failed business, safeguarding a dozen EPC jobs in the process.

“Anochrome has a fantastic reputation with OEMs within the industry and supplies a vast number of finishes. I was really impressed to see the amount of investment underway across the Group, and I am looking forward to playing my part in the business’s continued success,” said Westley.

As part of the acquisition, WEP obtained equipment for dip spin coating with zinc flake and organic finishes, as well as thread locking and patching machinery. These assets have already been transferred to Inlex Locking Ltd, a member of the Anochrome Group.
