Atlas Copco Group acquires Air Way Automation

The Atlas Copco Group has acquired automated bolt feeding solutions supplier Air Way Automation. 

Both parties did not disclose the transaction price. After the acquisition, Air Way Automation will become part of the Motor Vehicle Industry Tools and Assembly Systems Division within the company’s Industrial Technique Business Area.

Air Way is headquartered in Michigan, the US and has 98 employees. During 2023, the company had revenues of approximately $US35 million. 

“This acquisition complements one of our recent acquisitions and will further strengthen Industrial Technique’s offering in the area of automation,” said Henrik Elmin, Business Area President for Industrial Technique.

Earlier this year, the Atlas Copco Group added Czech engineering company Mont-Tech Ltd to its portfolio.
