Atlas Copco Group has acquired SCS Makina A.Ş. (SCS), a compressor distributor in Türkiye.
Both companies did not disclose the purchase price. After the acquisition, SCS will become part of the service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
“With this acquisition, we will be able to grow our geographical presence further and serve current and future customers even better”, said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco Group.
SCS was founded in 2011 and has 11 employees. The company provides sales and service of air compressor solutions to the Turkish market and is focused on the textile, cement, chemicals and food and beverage sectors. In 2023, SCS had revenues of approximately SEK40 million.
The Atlas Copco Group recently acquired automated bolt feeding solutions supplier Air Way Automation.
