Effective from June 1, 2023, Guido Grandi will become CEO of NORMA Group. The Supervisory Board of NORMA Group today appointed him as the future Chairman of the Management Board. Currently, Miguel Ángel López Borrego is acting as interim CEO. As from June, he will resume his position as a member of the Supervisory Board of NORMA Group.
Günter Hauptmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board said: “We are delighted to gain a distinguished leader in Guido Grandi. With his extensive experience in the transformation of companies, he is the right candidate to position NORMA Group for sustainable profitable growth in all business areas.”
Guido Grandi has many years of management experience in Germany and the United States. Most recently, he was CEO of WKW AG. The international WKW Group, headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, manufactures trims, functional components and roof rail systems for vehicles. Grandi will introduce himself to the shareholders at NORMA Group’s Annual General Meeting on May 11, 2023.
CEO-designate Grandi said: “NORMA Group’s mission-critical joining components and efficient water management products as well as its development expertise are highly valued by customers worldwide. I am very much looking forward to the task of optimally aligning the company with the dynamic requirements of customers and markets.”
Günter Hauptmann thanked interim CEO Miguel Ángel López Borrego adding: “On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Mr. López Borrego for his excellent achievements in recent months. He not only ensured continuity in management, but also initiated important improvement measures, on which Mr. Grandi will continue to build together with his Management Board colleagues Annette Stieve (CFO) and Dr. Daniel Heymann (COO from May 1, 2023). We are very much looking forward to continuing our joint work on the Supervisory Board.”
