tesa's new 62510 double sided tape has been designed for outdoor mounting applications in the most demanding of environments.
Promising a reliable bonding performance, tesa 62510 is 1mm thick (1000µm) and has a highly conformable PE foam backing, designed to allow ease of application while providing an optimum fit on a wide range of applications, such as for trims and extruded profiles, point of sale and display.
Combining an elongation at break of 180% with a tensile strength of 10 N/cm, the tape’s high strength creates a durable bond that significantly reduces the chances of tearing or breakage during application.
The tackified acrylic adhesive, with its UV, water and ageing resistance as well as the ability to adhere to a variety of substrates including steel, ABS, aluminium, PET, PVC and more, makes it well suited to tough outdoor applications across a diverse range of mounting operations, tesa said.

Tests conducted by TÜV Rheinland confirmed tesa 62510’s long term adhesion performance after IEC 61215 climate tests and an 85˚C temperature resistance.
