UK DIY and home improvement retailing company B&Q has expanded its trial with delivery company Deliveroo, offering customers multiple products for delivery from five stores in or near London.
Under the extended partnership, customers can order over 9,500 products from larger B&Q stores in Beckton, Sidcup, Watford, Acton and Romford in as little as 25 minutes, including paint brands, gardening, storage and home furnishing products.
The expansion followed the service launch from B&Q’s smaller high-street stores, B&Q Locals, in August 2024.
“We’re constantly looking at ways we can enhance the experience of our customers, and by extending our service with Deliveroo to five of our larger stores, we’re increasing the range of products available to help meet the increasing consumer demand for speed and convenience as well as options for delivery,” said Amelie Gallichan-Todd, Supply and Logistics Director at B&Q.
Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, added: “Our customers value the convenience of ordering everything from masking tape and dust sheets to spanners and paint for on-demand delivery, enabling them to continue their projects without delay.”
