The Board of Directors of SFS Group AG has proposed the election of Manuela Suter at the group's Annual General Meeting on 22 April 2021.
Suter is the CFO and member of the Group Executive Board of Bucher Industries, having amassed many years' experience in this role in a multi-divisional, international, listed industrial company.
After completing a degree in economics at the University of Zurich, Suter trained as an accountant and worked in this role for a leading auditing company for several years. After this, she worked across accounting, controlling and reporting in industrial companies, at SIX Exchange Regulation and, since 2011, at Bucher Industries.
According to a statement, the Board of Directors of the SFS Group considers the planned election of Suter as a 'valuable addition' to its body.
SFS Group, which owns Gesipa, grew sales 2.5% to CHF 1,781.4 million in 2019, with adjusted EBIT margin of a better-than-expected 13.4%, significantly improving its operating performance in the second half of the year.
