ForgeFix has staged two 24 hour customer events where it announced new deals with DeWalt and Wera, as well as unveiled details of its new ForgeFast elite woodscrews.
The company, which is heading to Torque-Expo 2016 later in the year, dubbed the events '24 hours with ForgeFix’, with the first taking place at Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa in Pott Shrigley, near Macclesfield and the second at De Vere Wokefield Park in Mortimer near Reading.
Both events gave stockists of ForgeFix fixings, fasteners, power tool accessories and hardware the chance to learn more about the company’s offering before being able to network across leisure activities and dinner in the evening.
The events saw presentations from key ForgeFix personnel, including company managing director Michael Brown. He outlined how ForgeFix recognises the instrumental role stockists play in the company’s success and how, as a result, the business believes in a true partnership approach. The firm said it remains committed to providing its resellers with all the tools they need to maximise sales ranging from innovative products to on-going marketing support and the choice of numerous merchandising and point of sale solutions.
The ForgeFix MD detailed ForgeFix’s service offering which includes access to over 3,000 products lines for next day delivery as well as 97% stock availability thanks to the business’ two warehouses which provide over 70,000 sq ft of stockholding space. Brown also told the assembled audiences about new partnerships ForgeFix has established with DeWalt and Wera. These partnerships will see ForgeFix offering products from both major brands.
Tony Armitt, purchasing manager, also spoke to guests about the continued evolution of woodscrews before officially launching ForgeFix’s new and next generation ForgeFast elite performance woodscrews. These screws - which are available in both Torx and Pozi head - offer a step up in performance on existing premium woodscrews. For this reason, ForgeFix has positioned its latest products in a new and ‘elite’ performance category.
The presentations were followed by lunch and leisure activities including golf, laser clay pigeon shooting and falconry.
Feedback from ForgeFix customers who attended the event has been exceptional, the firm said. One of those customers, Andy Martin, Managing Director at Teknofix, said: “24 hours with ForgeFix proved to be both enjoyable and rewarding with the friendliness and professionalism of the ForgeFix team evident throughout. It was an ideal way to learn more about the company’s developments in a relaxed and informal way.”
Michael Brown added: “As a business, ForgeFix aims to offer high quality products backed by equally high levels of customer service. Our 24 hour with ForgeFix events were a natural extension of that.
“They served as a no obligation way for customers to learn more about our latest offer whilst putting faces to the names of many members of our team. We plan on staging additional events for more customers in the very near future.”
