The Construction Fixings Association (CFA) has set dates for two Proof Testing Courses of General Purpose Anchors in May and June 2019, which are now open for registrations.
Running at Hilti, Manchester on 29 May and 10 June at Ejot, Leeds, the CFA Approved Tester Courses run over one day and are suitable for operatives who are required to carry out proof testing of post-installed anchors, either as part of the installation process or as a service to the installer.
The training certifies the successful candidates as a Competent Tester in accordance with BS8539:2012 Clause 9.1 for General Purpose Anchor Testing. On completion of the course the successful attendees will be issued with a Certificate of Training and a Competent Tester card. There are more details on the CFA site.
