C-parts specialist Bufab expects pick up in growth and profit in Q3

Bufab has reported a continued recovery in demand in Q3, where net sales reached SEK 1.180 million (2019: SEK 1.044 million) or 13% growth.

Organic growth in the period hit 0%, a significant recovery from Q2's -25%. Organic growth in August-September was positive. Order intake in Q3 exceeded net sales.

Operating profit for the c-parts (fasteners, screws, nuts, etc) increased, due, however, to significantly lower operating costs combined with the continued recovery in demand and good contributions from recent acquisitions. No Covid-19 related government grants were recorded in the period.

The group said: "Overall, Bufab saw a continued good recovery and a strong development in profitability in the third quarter."

The audited Q3 results will be published 23 October 2020.
