MA Exhibitions, which owns and runs Subcon, The Engineer Expo, and the Manufacturing Management Show, has announced the event will be rescheduled to September.
The events, which were to take place 9-11 June, have been pushed back to 28-30 September 2020, as a result of health and safety concerns surrounding the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
In a statement, the organisers said:
"As organisers, our number one priority is to ensure the health, safety and well being of all of our exhibitors, visitors and staff. Given the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the concerns shared by a number of the show's partners, we have decided that in order to minimise the risks to visitors and exhibitors, the event will now take place at the end of September in Hall 6 NEC.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the show's partners for their understanding in this matter and we look forward to working with you to deliver an outstanding event in September."
Subcon joins a long list of shows which have pushed back their dates, or cancelled altogether, in the first half of 2020 amid concerns surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. So far, shows which have postponed to later in the year, and into early 2021, include: Troy Means Business, International Hardware Fair in Cologne, Taiwan International Fastener Show, wire and most recently, the Toolbank Spring Trade Shows.
