MA Exhibitions, owner of Subcon, The Engineer Expo and The Manufacturing Management Show, has announced it will postpone the event to January 26-28 2021, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event, which was initially due to take place 28-30 September this year, will now run in Halls seven and eight at the NEC Birmingham, running alongside MACH 2021, Air Tech, Fluid and Power Systems, Drives and Controls, Plant and Asset Management and Smart Industry Expo events.
The Subcon team said in the announcement:
"As organisers, our absolute priority remains the health, safety and well being of all of our exhibitors, visitors and staff. It is our view that the new January dates will enable us to deliver the best possible event experience for everyone involved.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the show's partners for their understanding in this matter and we look forward to working with you to deliver an outstanding event in January 2021."
Subcon joins the long list of events and shows which have had to postpone their dates due to the ongoing pandemic. Some of these, such as TAITRA, STAFDA and the NFDA, are looking to fill this gap through facilitating business connections across virtual platforms instead.
