NORMA Group recognised for outstanding quality

NORMA Group has been recognised by General Motors, Paccar and Ashok Leyland for its outstanding supplier performance in 2023. The company was presented with the “Supplier Quality Excellence Award 2023” from General Motors and the "PACCAR Quality Achievement Award" from Paccar. NORMA Group also received the “Platinum Award” by Ashok Leyland.

“We are really happy to receive these awards,” said Guido Grandi, CEO of NORMA Group. “They emphasise the outstanding quality standards we maintain for our products and services. They also serve as an incentive, pushing us to continuously optimise our portfolio and always deliver the best possible service for our customers.”

With the “Supplier Quality Excellence Award”, General Motors recognises companies that meet or exceed the automotive group’s strict quality criteria. The NORMA Group site in Juarez, Mexico, has been supplying General Motors with V-band clamps for the exhaust tract since 2020 and received the award already for calendar years 2021 and 2022.

Every year, US truck manufacturer Paccar presents the “PACCAR Quality Achievement Award” to suppliers who meet or exceed the quality standard of “10 PPM” or the equivalent of no more than ten defective parts per one million components delivered to Paccar. The plant in Pilica, Poland, received this award for 2023 for its outstanding product and service performance. It has been supplying Paccar with connectors and hoses for fuel systems since 2021 and was honoured with the award already in the same year.

Ashok Leyland’s “Platinum Award” evaluates the consistency in quality performance over the last three years. The award was presented to the plant in Pune, India. NORMA Group has been supplying the commercial vehicle manufacturer with fuel and fluid lines for water and engine cooling systems as well as connectors for seven years.
