Klimas obtains DAFA certificate

Klimas Wkręt-met (Klimas) has been awarded the DAFA certificate again, a testimony to the company’s products that have met the highest quality standards.

In 2013, the company joined DAFA, the Association of Flat Roof and Facade Contractors, offering fastening solutions for thermal and waterproof insulation of flat roofs, as well as for lightweight housing.

Marcin Duzik, Global Market Development Director of Klimas, said: “The DAFA certificate is a confirmation of the highest quality standards of our products. It’s also the best testimony to the brand’s business credibility and reliability.”

Since 2006, DAFA has been committed to promoting quality and the highest technological standards in modern construction, particularly in the areas of flat roofs, green roofs and facades. Within the association, various expert groups, covering topics like health and safety, acoustics, fastening technology and green roofs, develop guidelines and publish technical documents that have an impact on industry safety and practices.

A key aspect of DAFA’s standards is the dissemination of knowledge about the proper design and installation of flat roofs and facades — including the technical requirements and performance parameters of materials used.

Based on these values, DAFA publishes the DAFA Members’ catalogue, which is targeted at general contractors, investors, architects and designers. It gives them confidence that their projects will be executed with reliable and proven partners. The catalogue features companies that offer top-quality products, integrity and professionalism in business.
