Sales in DIY stores in the Netherlands were up almost 20% in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year. Sales totalled around €1.9 billion reports Dutch trade magazine Mix with reference to the GfK DIY Recap.
2021 figures were largely affected by lockdowns associated with the coronavirus pandemic. Strong growth in the first quarter of 2022 showed sales were 69% higher than the previous year.
