BHETA adds new DIY committee member

BHETA has expanded its DIY committee with the appointment of Steve Law, Commercial Director at UK brushware manufacturer Charles Bentley, to the board.

Law brings extensive experience to the role, having held senior commercial positions at Irwin Tools, Hall Beeline Stanley, Hamilton Acorn, Fiskars and Amefa. He has led business growth and innovation across European markets, including Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.

In his current role at Charles Bentley, Law has been instrumental in expanding well-known brands such as Bulldozer, Gripit and MarXman into major UK retailers. Under his leadership, the company has also strengthened its presence in DSV and marketplace channels, supporting over 20 major retailers with direct-to-consumer solutions in the home and garden sector.

BHETA’s DIY Committee represents and supports the interests of DIY and home improvement members, working on initiatives to drive industry growth. Chaired by Jon Langford of Croydex, the committee includes directors from QEP Vitrex, Shurtape, Spear & Jackson, Duracell, Holden Décor, Monument Tools and Sherwin-Williams.
