Jordan Daykin, founder of GripIt Fixings, has acquired Vehicle Preparation Services Group Ltd (VPS) (reports BQ live).
According to the report, Daykin bought the firm for £5m, which employs 160 people and turns over approx £5m. Working in the automotive sector, VPS is based over five sites in Wiltshire. Daykin has say on the VPS Group board for two years.
Daykin shot to fame with his GripIt Fixing brand when he appeared on the BBC's investor programme Dragons' Den and successfully attracted investment from Deborah Meaden.
