Chris Ridgeon has been named the new Toolbank Group Account Manager with effect from 1 June 2020, following his predecessor's retirement.
Ridgeon has spent over 20 years with the major distributor of power tools, hand tools and related products.
Paul Maxwell, Toolbank Sales Director, said: “Following Neil Robinson’s decision to retire after 25 years’ service I am delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Ridgeon as our Group Account Manager. He will be responsible for developing our business with the merchant buying groups.
"Currently operating as Business Development Manager, Chris has worked with us for seven years as a salesman and sixteen as a sales manager for our Southampton branch so he will bring a lot of experience to the national management team as we continue to develop our business in all trade sectors.”
Ridgeon will work closely with Neil Robinson and Sales Director Paul Maxwell during the handover process.
Toolbank recently expanded its offering during lockdown to supply a wider selection of products for distributors, merchants and shops.
