The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) has announced an all-day training session at Fastener Fair USA.
Attendees will learn the nuances of fastener applications and design concepts, equipping them with knowledge of head styles, drive features, thread forms, materials, heat treatments, and plating and coating.
Sponsored by Star Stainless, the all-day class welcomes engineers, sales professionals, quality assurance professionals, purchasers, and practitioners in OEM, sourcing & quoting, marketing, or management.
The Industrial Fasteners Institute’s Director of Education and Training, Laurence Claus, will lead the session. Attendees will gain a deep appreciation for the diversity and complexity of fastener designs, gain insights into the manufacturing process, and understand the factors influencing cost variations.
FTI also launched training classes at Fastener Fair USA last year.
Meanwhile, FTI announced the 2025 training schedule of Fastener Training Weeks, which will be scheduled for 7-11 April, 25-29 August and 17-21 November. Multiple in-person day classes, including Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) classes, will be held throughout the year.
