Nedschroef has begun construction of its second automotive fastener factory in Spain.
Situated in Tarragona, this facility will enhance Nedschroef's capacity to deliver advanced fastening solutions across Europe. Nedschroef described the Tarragona factory as a cornerstone of its three-year action plan, poised to optimise production capacity and drive operational efficiency.
Nedschroef, as part of Shanghai Electric since 10 years ago, has steadily expanded its component design and production capabilities since acquiring CP Tech in 2017, targeting advanced markets such as aerospace and special-purpose vehicles.
To continue to grow its business, Nedschroef aims to expand Setup Wizard's visualisation capabilities and penetrate the civilian automotive market by leveraging Shanghai Electric's headquarters resources and industrial software partnerships.
"CP Tech, located in the heart of Europe, is uniquely positioned to amplify collaboration across Shanghai Electric's business segments. This synergy fosters mutual growth while addressing global market and technological shifts. Together, we will unlock new opportunities and expand our global reach," said Wu Lei, Chairman of Shanghai Electric.
