Koelnmesse and dmg events have announced that they will co-organise the new International Hardware Fair Saudi Arabia.
The fair will take place annually at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC), with the first edition scheduled for 16 to 18 June 2025. Koelnmesse said the trade fair offers international and local suppliers in the hardware and tools sector an opportunity to forge important business relationships with distributors, retailers and major customers in the burgeoning Saudi Arabian market.
It added that this trade fair will be the first to provide a comprehensive, cross-industry platform dedicated exclusively to the hardware and tool sector in Saudi Arabia.
“The launch of the International Hardware Fair Saudi Arabia sends a strong message about our ambitions for global growth. We are leveraging our extensive know-how and the proven success of the EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair in Cologne to establish a new platform in the rapidly growing Saudi Arabian market,” said Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse.
According to Koelnmesse, the Saudi Arabian hardware and building materials market is expected to generate sales of $US9.3 billion in 2024 and grow to an estimated $US10.4 billion by 2028.
Sales of the tools and machinery market are projected to reach $US 1.18 billion in 2024 and grow at an annual rate of 3.04%.
In September, Koelnmesse and Traya Eksibisi Internasional announced a strategic collaboration to launch interzum Jakarta and International Hardware Fair (IHF) Indonesia. The 3-in-1 event will be held from 24-27 September 2025 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Jakarta, Indonesia.
