Thanks to a £10.5 million funding package from Lloyds Commercial Banking, Walter Tipper has acquired two business (reports Insider Media).
Huthwaite Roofing Suppliers and G&J Builders' Merchants have both been bought by the builders merchant, as well as six acres of land to form a new depot. The firm expects the moves will see its £45 million annual revenue rise 10%.
Tippers Building Merchants has branches at Lichfield, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Uttoxeter and Birmingham.
