In July, V12 hosted a knowledge sharing event to discuss a key shortfall in the industry – women’s PPE – in particular, safety footwear.
Representatives from the construction, oil & gas and engineering industry attended the event, as did experts in the fields of PPE, shoe fitting and foot health.
Following speeches, workshops and Q&A sessions, the event identified how women's safety footwear has improved but also the continuing shortfalls in addressing the different anatomical features of women's and men's feet. For example, men's safety footwear is typically too wide at the ankle and heel for women.
V12 also took the opportunity to showcase its latest women's safety footwear. To find out more, watch the video:
