ToughBuilt Industries has announced that it will begin working with Troy UK, which will enable the manufacturer to trade with the buying group’s growing 300-plus members who collectively operate more than 400 selling sites across the UK and Ireland.
Troy UK, which incorporates THS Tools, helps its network of nationwide members to enjoy competitive advantages and increased sales.
Troy UK works with a portfolio of over 400 leading suppliers of industrial tools and equipment and uses its £1.1 billion buying power to negotiate preferential terms from these supplier partners for its members.
Following ToughBuilt’s launch into the UK market in 2019 and as part of its long-term commitment to the British and Irish market, the company has recently established its own UK-based sales team and distribution operations which includes warehousing in Ipswich.
Vahe Der Kureghian, ToughBuilt (Europe) Managing Director, said: “In ToughBuilt’s native North America, the company has developed a large and loyal following of product users. This can be attributed in part to the level of thinking that is applied during the product development phase.
“Whether you’re talking about our Sawhorses, our Kneepads, the ClipTech system of Belts and Pouches or indeed any of our products, you’ll find they benefit from innovative features that enable people to work smarter, faster and more effectively.
“We’re looking forward to replicating our US success in the UK and Irish markets, and our new partnership with Troy UK will play an important part in those ambitious plans.”
Kevin Kelly, Purchasing Manager at Troy UK, added: “Troy UK prides itself on carefully selecting suppliers who are able to offer our members high quality products, strong brands, competitive prices and responsive service. ToughBuilt was able to meet all of these criteria and more.
“We’re looking forward to working with the business and expect its range to prove a new and exciting choice for both our members and their eventual customers.”
