Alongside Richer Sounds, Toolstation has been named the highest ranking high street retailer in the UK in 2017, according to the respected Which? annual survey.
Over 10,000 consumers were asked about their shopping experience at 100 major retailers, with customer scores based on experiences of purchasing items, satisfaction levels and likelihood of recommending each shop.
Owned by Travis Perkins Group, Toolstation has a strong record in the survey, topping the list last year. It was also named best online retailer in the DIY products category by Which? in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Screwfix was the only other tool and fastener stockist to make the top ten list, in position ten, rated 76% (186). B&Q got 70% at position 42, with Wickes achieving 66% at 67 and Homebase trailing with 63% at 83.
Richard Headland, editor of Which? magazine, said: “The best retailers, Richer Sounds and Toolstation, continue to strike the right balance by selling quality products at reasonable prices. It’s a simple formula, but that’s why they consistently score well with shoppers in the Which? survey.”
