TIMco has launched a dedicated training department at their base in Nantwich.
The new training facilities will provide free training to TIMco customers alongside their newly launched ‘How To’ videos - both are part of a drive of supporting independent specialists.
The aim of the dedicated training departments is to provide employees of trade customers with facilities to learn about the products and applications so they in turn can share learnings and offer advice and expertise to their own customers. TIMco said it has been proven that customers like shopping at independent outlets for this very reason – they are able to provide better quality and knowledgeable service than many of the national competitors.
In addition to the training facilities TIMco has launched a series of ‘How To’ videos, recorded within the training facilities by TIMco’s training managers. The videos are pitched as providing clear and valuable advice on the products, providing customers and end users with a clear and concise ‘how to’ instructional video for a growing range of TIMco products.
Simon Midwood, TIMco MD, commented: “We have always valued our relationships with customers and we strive to keep everyone engaged, motivated and supported in any way we can. These facilities and training videos are just the latest example of ‘how to’ best support customers and provide them with the support required to grow their businesses.”
In the last year alone, TIMco has increased its product lines by more than 13% to more than 5,000 lines. As well as offering a complete range of fixings, fastenings and power tool accessories, the company has launched VETO, a security solutions range, extended the C2 range as well as releasing a new range of driver bits and other ancillary products required by distributors.
