TIMco has launched a range of high performance Auger bits through its Addax power tool range.
Made in Japan from high quality carbon steel, the new launches are proven to outperform a standard Auger bit in both lifetime and performance, said TIMco.
The new range, including impact auger bits and deep cut auger bits, further extends TIMco’s product offering to more than 5,000 different lines. The new Auger bits have a spurred cutting edge for a fast and even cut and a burr-free lead screw to ensure it is quick, on-target and starts without build up.
Made from S55C carbon steel, known for its use when greater strength and hardness is required, the Japanese Auger is ideal for oak, hardwood and softwoods. During tests it has performed 36% faster than the industry leading standard long reach auger, according to TIMco, as well as keeping its cutting edge three times longer than other auger bits.

In the last year TIMco has increased its product lines by more than 13% to over 5,000 lines. As well as offering a complete range of fixings, fastenings and power tool accessories, the company has launched VETO, a security solutions range, extended the C2 range as well as releasing a new range of driver bits and other ancillary products required by distributors.
