The Dusseldorf-set Wire and Tube 2016 shows grew this year and the steel crisis, climate regulations and ‘Industry 4.0’ proved to be the key talking points amongst visitors and exhibitors, according to the show organiser.
Approximately 2,600 companies in the wire, cable and tube processing industries took part over the five days of the show.
The Wire and Tube shows, which run simultaneously, took over 110,900 square metres of space across 16 of Messe Dusseldorf’s exhibition halls.
The Wire Show has been running for 30 years and this year saw WAFIOS AG Reutlingen exhibit. The firm’s sales and marketing director Dr. Christoph Müller-Mederer said:
“A very international, highly competent audience from Europe and North America. Particularly pleasing was the high number of concrete projects. The great response to the introduction of smartfactory 4.0 products, services and ideas is WAFIOS’ answer to the Industry 4.0 challenge.”
The two shows will again run alongside each other in Dusseldorf, from April 16th to 20th 2018.
