VSP’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Brugherio (Monza Brianza province), Italy just a few kilometers north of Milan. From this location, VSP has concentrated mainly on its traditional markets within the European continent – Italy, Germany and other countries in Northern Europe. Pitched as a market leader in Europe for the manufacture and distribution of high performance steel fasteners, the private equity Arcadia SGR became the majority owner of VSP in 2013.
Now VSP Fasteners is taking steps to extend its presence beyond Europe to other international markets. Most significantly for the NIFMSE show,
VSP has opened a sales office in Chicago to interact with clients in North America.
VSP’s core fastener production technology is Hot Forging, the traditional and flexible method that allows VSP to manufacture bolts to special technical specifications and tolerances, long lengths and diameters (Metric and Imperial) as large as M80 and Imperial sizes. Helpfully, it also allows VSP to offer quality special bolts and small batch quantities when required on short lead times. Quality is closely observed at all levels, through all production phases.
VSP produces and distributes medium and large size fasteners certified on material test reports to Property Classes 8.8 thru 14.9 as well as US Grades 5 thru 8 and Carbon Alloy grades. Fasteners manufactured at VSP are commonly used in a broad range of industries demanding top quality such as Agricultural and Earth Moving equipment; Mechanics; Plant Construction and Engineering; Oil and Gas; Wind Energy; and the Steel Industry.
