Hardware Association Ireland (HAI) has revealed that The Hardware Show 2017 is now the biggest show in the Association’s history, with three months still to go.
Over 3,300sqm of space has been sold in RDS Simmonscourt for the event, which will run 5-6 March 2017. It far exceeds the 2015 Show in size in Citywest, HAI confirmed.
“We’re grateful to all the suppliers and manufacturers in the industry that showed early endorsement for the Show by taking more space than they had before and to the many new exhibitors we’re seeing at the Show for the first time in 2017,″ said Annemarie Harte, CEO of HAI. “And we’re not finished yet, there’s still some space left, although there’s a queue forming!”
The 2017 Show is to feature areas of interest to retailers and merchants both owner/managers and their department managers, marketing managers and all those related to the trade.
“Given the signs of recovery in the sector and confidence returning, we have deliberately set out to make this Show the best we have ever produced to support and enhance the experience for the visitor,” Harte added: “We have an Education Hub in the centre of the Show providing a schedule of bite-size presentations on areas from HR to ecommerce, and we have significant features including Google’s Digital Garage and our finest apprentices from DIT Bolton Street showing off their skills in electrical and plumbing amongst other disciplines in our Skills Zone."
Among the companies who have already booked space are Hexstone, ABC Abrasives, Bostik Industries, Draper Tools, Keypoint Abrasives, Ronseal, Sika Everbuild, Olympics Fixings Ireland and Rawlplug, among others.
