Grainger-owned Zoro UK, online supplier of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) and tools, has moved into automatic replenishment servicing for the engineer sector.
The service, Order Subscription, will cut time spent reordering, reduce human error and ensure smooth production, according to the firm.
Zoro pitches itself as a one-stop-shop for more than 250,000 industrial consumables, tools and business supplies with free next day delivery throughout the UK on many of its lines.
When ordering products through Zoro’s Order Subscription service, customers choose a monthly, weekly or biweekly option. Customers can also choose a start and end date for the subscription, and can make the dates the same, effectively functioning as a single scheduled order.
Chris Matenaers, Zoro’s Marketing Director, said: “Adding Order Subscriptions to our website will vastly improve production lines and help keep businesses running.

Order Subscription, which has been exclusively released to Zoro Business Account customers, will be rolled out to all customers toward the end of the year.

Grainger first launched Zoro in the US in 2011, taking it to the UK in early 2018. Zoro supplies product in personal protection & clothing, abrasives, office supplies, hand tools, adhesives and sealants, power tools, lubricants, storage and handling, packaging, cleaning and hygiene, welding equipment and more.
Through Zoro, Grainger has grown into a number of UK markets, including the rail and transport sectors.
