Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation, subsidiary of Techtronic Industries Co (TTI), has announced the acquisition of US manufacturer Imperial Blades.
Founded in 2008, Imperial Blades is the original inventor of the universal shank for use on oscillating multi-tools. The company has grown in recent years alongside the incorporation of new product technology such as Storm Titanium coating and Carbide Extreme Blade.

TTI was founded in 1985, and is considered a world leader in cordless technology spanning power tools, outdoor power equipment, floor care appliances and accessories for the home, construction, maintenance, industrial and infrastructure industries. TTI's brand portfolio includes: Milwaukee, AEG, Ryobi, Homelite, Empire, Hoover, Oreck, Vax and Dirt Devil.
Milwaukee Tool is undergoing significant expansion in the US, growing existing operations in Mississippi, creating over 600 new jobs.
