In what would have been handy for Europe's recent record breaking summer heatwave, Makita has launched its LXT Cordless Fan Jacket to keep users cool.
Two compact BL brushless motor fans circulate cooling air within the high vis jacket, with a run time of up to 11 hours on the high setting.
Using Makita's 18V LXT 5.0Ah battery (battery sold separately), there are three air flow modes to fend off sweats while silver reflective tape accents provide increased visibility in low light.
Wind and water resistance protect the wearer if the weather inevitably turns and the generous allocation of five pockets includes a chest pocket with a hole to enable mobile devices to be stored and even charged while wearing the jacket.
