As Bulten AB announced on 20th June last year, Anders Nyström has been appointed the new President and CEO of Bulten.
Today, he assumes his position and takes over after Tommy Andersson, who retires after nineteen years with the company.
Ulf Liljedahl, Chairman of the Board, said: "The Board is very pleased with the recruitment of Anders Nyström. He will contribute with a broad experience from the automotive industry combined with strong leadership.
"We also want to thank Tommy Andersson who very successfully has led Bulten to a leading position in the market for fasteners."
Nyström is a mechanical engineer with substantial education in leadership and economics. He has extensive international experience from the automotive industry and has previously held several leading positions within, amongst others, Kongsberg Automotive, Volvo Cars and Ford Motor Company.
Nyström joins Bulten from IAC Group where he has been Vice President Commercial since 2018.

Bulten is one of the leading suppliers of fasteners to the international automotive industry. The company’s product range includes everything from customer-specific standard products to customised special fasteners, and also provides technical development, line-feeding, logistics, material and production expertise.
The company has now released its Full year and Q4 report, which dictates net sales for 2018 amounted to SEK 3,132 million, an increase of 9.7% on the same period last year, and earnings after tax amounting to SEK 143 million.
The report revealed Bulten has also signed a Full Service Provider (FSP) contract for the driveline of an electric car, initially worth in the region of EUR 5 million a year at full production in 2021, starting in 2020.
