"Transforming a family business into a global business group"
'People, passion and chemistry' are the concepts behind the group, explained Jaume Juher, president of the Briolf Group: "The change of mindset that is involved in transforming family businesses into a global business group is undoubtedly one of the main challenges we have managed to successfully overcome."
The aim of the alliance is to promote and generate more collaborations between the firms' lines of business, with a clear desire to diversify the sectors. "This not only enriches us and enables us to be present in various markets with high added value, but also provides us with greater economic stability in the long term, regardless of the economic cycle."
The group promised that every part of it is important, respecting the different organisational cultures of each firm as much as possible and committed to innovation. Internationalisation is key for the group, with 15 companies overseas and more than 40% of the workforce based outside Spain. Juher added: "We have a vision of international growth, maintaining a spirit of family, proximity and involvement with the territory of each of the companies within the group."
The intention of the group is to maintain the growth levels achieved so far and make acquisitions in strategic fields to rank among the top 15 European business groups in the sector within the next five years.
