Bosch power tools has launched its Ixo Configurator MyIxo which allows for customers to personalise the power tool individually with this configurator exclusively in the Bosch Heroes E-Shop in two steps.
Firstly, customers can select the housing colour, either Noble Black or Fresh White and combine this with the selected handle colour which can be anything from Fresh Red to Ice Blue. The Ixo, thanks to adapters, can do a lot more than screwdriving and the adapters can also be booked directly: Whether this relates to lifestyle features such as the corkscrew adapter Vino, the spice mill adapter, the Barbecue grill blower adapter, or DIY applications with a drilling, angle screw, off-set angle or universal cutting adapter.
The latest generation Ixo features Speed Control and a 30% shorter charging time compared to its predecessor. It also features a digital control system which means that the stronger the switch is pressed, the faster the Ixo screws. This stepless control makes the Ixo unique in its class, according to Bosch, and is gentle on screws and surfaces. In addition, the tool is ready for use again after a charging time of less than two hours thanks to improved hardware and software. The light and charging indicator via LED are integrated as before.
MyIxo can be configured and ordered from December. The Ixo Classic (see PI 11233 ) and the Ixo Colour Edition in Raspberry Red also remain in the programme.
