B&Q and beleaguered fellow DIY retailer Homebase have been blasted as having among the worst online retail sites in the UK.
Consumer champion Which? annually rates the best and worst online shops through a survey of more than 10,000 Which? members.
Homebase.co.uk is at rock bottom in the Which? rankings (with a customer score of 55%), followed closely by B&Q's DIY.com, ranked fourth worst online shop (customer score 62%).
Homebase has not had a vintage 2018, having been bought for £1 after Wesfarmers' failed bid to bring Bunnings to the UK and Irish markets. A quarter of Homebase stores are expected to close. B&Q has battled through a tough UK DIY market this year, with a slight decline in total sales in H1 2018.
Despite the drubbing from Which?, B&Q saw total online sales grow 8% in H1 2018, now representing 4% of sales.
