The New Year at specialist engineering steel supplier Hillfoot sees three experienced team members - Craig James, Simon Taylor and Kasia Jesiolek - take on new management roles.
Craig James has become Hillfoot’s Managing Director, continuing his long association with the company. A vastly experienced steel industry executive, he joined Hillfoot in 1994 and has been instrumental in the growth of its client base and development of its wide-ranging services operation.
Simon Taylor, another long-serving member of the team, has been promoted to the position of Executive Director. Taylor returned to the company for a second spell in 2009 and has since overseen its purchasing operation, building the robust supply network encompassing specialist steel producers around the world that allows Hillfoot to supply the high-quality materials required by the manufacturing sector.
Kasia Jesiolek has stepped up to become Hillfoot’s new Technical & Quality Manager. Since joining the company in 2009, Kasia has provided in-depth technical advice to customers, assisting with material selection and helping manufacturers to achieve cost and efficiency savings.
Craig James said: “It’s an exciting time for Hillfoot and these changes will help us to continue growing, while improving service levels and developing even more cost-effective steel supply solutions for our customers. I’m delighted to see the hard work and expertise of Simon and Kasia recognised, and both our long-standing customers and new clients will benefit from the skills they bring to their new roles.”
