Buehler launching fastener metallography webinar for engineers and quality technicians

Global manufacturer of metallographic equipment and consumables Buehler is to make a present a complimentary webinar later this month, titled ‘Fastener Metallography – Guidelines to Quality Metallurgical Analysis’, for novices and experts.

The Fastener Metallography Webinar is expected to be of interest to the metallurgical technicians, engineers and others who carry out testing of fastener components and related materials as part of the quality control or inspection during production of the desired final product.

The webinar will be available (in English) in three time zones: on Wednesday 27 May 27, 2020 it will be live in the United Kingdom and Asia time zones. On Thursday 28 May 2020 it will be presented live in the United States central time zone.

Taking into accounts the vast range of applications for fasteners across a wide range of industries like automotive, aerospace, appliances (white goods), construction projects and others, the webinar will explore metallurgical investigation of fastener components and related materials by highlighting preparation guidelines for the stages of fastener production process.

Buehler experts will share the best practices to adopt, while following strict ASTM and/or ISO standards for fastener evaluation due to their safety critical use in aerospace, automotive, and other related industries.
